Jake grew up in Plymouth, MN, where he graduated from Hopkins High School. He recognized early on in his career that he had a great passion for helping people, and has spent the last 13 years volunteering and working with children and adults with disabilities. During that time, he worked as a job coach for a young man with down syndrome, and most recently as the coordinator of senior programming at the Sabes JCC. His desire for helping others and providing excellent care and service is a focal point for him, and certainly one of his most important values.
Jake continues to lives in his hometown of Plymouth, staying close to his tight knit family. Some of his hobbies include watching and playing golf, camping, basketball, football, movies and happy hours. He is also a die-hard Timberwolves fan (above all other Minnesota sports teams).
